The gazette was published after dissolving the current interim government. The gazette was published on the website of the Cabinet Department on Tuesday (February 17) night.
It is said that the President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh has given the decision to appoint Tarek Rahman, the trusted member of the majority of the Thirteenth National Assembly, as the Prime Minister and has given his consent for the formation of a new government under his leadership. With the formation of the new government, the advisory council of the current interim government will be deemed dissolved.
Apart from this, a separate gazette has been published appointing Tariq Rahman as Prime Minister.It was signed by Cabinet Secretary Nasimul Gani on the order of the President.
